The ever confusing question, what is truth? From the point that I stand at now I would have to say that truth is anything that is telling you what is true not false…duh!!! Anyways telling someone the truth can be hard for various reasons such as, you might of done something wrong and don’t want to get in trouble, it might be embarrassing, you might like to lie and can be described as Pinocchio’s best friend, to lie about your accomplishments, to not hurt someone’s feelings, etc. In mythology truth can really be a lie, or well not really a lie but not true scientifically, for example if the civilization is trying to explain why water falls from the sky they might say that the sacred blue frog wanted to be green so the frog went to the sky god and asked to be blue so the blue fell of his body in the form of rain and was left by green skin underneath. But rain doesn’t come from a blue frog who wants to be green it goes through the cycle so scientifically that story would be un-true.

Ferrel Children
What I found in The Lord of The Flies was a big truth about sanity. I had been watching the history channel with my father about ferrel children and they basically lost their humanity and sanity they didn't technically go insane they just didn't know how to act "civil" and the reason for this was because they where not immersed in society for a very long time or not at all. The boys from LOTF where much like this they where gone from the developed world and adults, and they were not old enough to keep their civilness about them so like the Ferrel children they started to lose their grip. So the truth is that like some drug addictions we are addicted. We are addicted to our developments our civilness, and without them some of us my just go crazy.

Scardie Cats
There are objects, scenarios, people, animals, or insects all of us are afraid of or for some of us all we are scared of all of those things. In To Kill a Mockingbird Jem, Scout, and Dill are scared of Boo Radley. In comparison, people are just as scared of things, as back then, and the only way we can get over being scared is to confront what scares us so, such as when Jem, Scout, and Dill tried to make contact with Boo. This is the truth about human beings no matter how much we would like to think of ourselves as the top of the food chain each one of us is scared of one or more things on the food chain.

TO HIGH!!!!
Expectations are made to be broken, it proves that we as individuals are not perfect. For example Pip wanted to be the perfect Gentelmen so that he could "have" Estella, which was his expectation, and from the very begining he made that to be broken by making to high of an expectation, (Estella). We as people make these expectations all the time but, like pip we make them to high to reach so we only get our finger tips on it and in the end have them broken because we expected to much.

friends
The most important theme in Of Mice and Men, was that best friends are far and few, and friends that have the feeling as though they are your brother or sister are even fewer, and when you come along one you have to hold onto them as long as you can because you never know when a friend like that will come along again. The truth in this statement comes from the core of what Lennie and George had. Although George did not know this till the end when he sat their paralyzed staring at Lennie's dead body, I feel as though what he was feeling was a loss of part of him, the loss of a friend, and a brother. Unlike George, Lennie knew this unconsciously he did all the things a brother would do to his older brother, he asked him questions about life, what he should do where they were going, and he looked up to him and in the end siblings are friends no matter how many nasty words they throw back and forth. What George and Lennie had was the friend and brother relationship they looked out for each other, loved each other, and went through what life they had together.
